While pursuing his engineering degree in Mumbai, he immersed himself in learning brand-new technologies. After graduating, he dedicated himself to demystifying technical jargon, making it understandable to all. Upon completing his studies, he embarked on a journey to comprehend the technical intricacies of languages, endeavoring to facilitate clearer communication by translating technical terms. His aim was to make a way that people can understand technical things in their own tongue. Meanwhile, born into a family with a background in business, he passionately sought innovative ways to generate income and employment opportunities through the power of language.
He grew up in Kolkata with Books, Films, Literature, and Bankruptcy. At a very young age, he experienced his father’s printing press business sinking because cutting-edge technologies are outperforming manual skills. He joined the media house to earn money but came out to learn the world of words outside. He exclaimed that whatever he thought was a human job, was transforming into a job of supercomputers but somehow machine productions are lacking uniqueness at the same time. This motivated him to establish a collaborative platform for hands and tools.
Embarking on a two-decades-long work journey, he transitioned from a rural setting to urban cities, spending a decade in journalism, editing, and writing. In the last decade, he experienced working as a linguist (English to Punjabi or Hindi) while collaborating with renowned international organizations. He felt that all rules, policies, laws, and orders are made by privileged people’s vocabulary and those are unreachable to the unprivileged part of the country. This drives him towards a commitment to redefining the world of translation, preserving local languages, and delivering accurate information to every person in India in their preferred language.
